The trade war between China and the U.S. could be cooling off,... with both sides expressing hope to resolve their various differences. <br /> China's Vice Commerce Minister Wang Bingnan said on Saturday that Beijing is willing to resolve its trade issues with Washington through mutually respectful talks and on an equal footing. <br />He said China, together with the U.S., will promote a healthy and stable development of their ties. <br />This comes as President Trump, told reporters at the White House on Friday, that the two sides are edging closer to doing something on trade, adding a lot of progress had been made to resolve their differences.<br />He said that, during his phone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping the previous day, he could feel his Chinese counterpart wants to make a deal.<br />President Trump said the deal will be fair for everybody and at the same time good for the United States.<br />However, Trump's economic adviser Larry Kudlow was more cautious, saying nothing will happen soon. <br />
