Italy continues to suffer from the aftermath of a devastating storm, with the death toll now reaching almost 30. <br /> Nine members of two families died in the same house over the weekend in Sicily.<br />Among them were two children aged one and three.<br />Three other people died when their cars were swept away on the southern island.<br />Days of heavy rain and winds have killed at least 17 other people, mainly in the northern and western parts of Italy. <br />Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has said he will convene a Cabinet meeting this week to announce a state of emergency in affected regions. <br />
