주한미군 주요 직위자 격려 차담회<br /><br />President Moon Jae-in hosted the leaders of U.S. Forces Korea at the nation's top office this afternoon to encourage them and honor their outgoing commander.<br />The South Korean leader thanked General Vincent Brooks for his service and stressed their iron-clad alliance is what made possible all the dramatic changes on the Peninsula in the past year, including the improvement in inter-Korean relations.<br />He praised the progress made in denuclearization, and said the alliance between Seoul and Washington has now evolved into a peace-making one that promotes not only the security and prosperity of both countries, but also peace and stability in Northeast Asia. <br />
