<br /> 1. If the voting machines are not working or are missing some power cables, request a paper ballot.<br />2. If your name isn’t on the rolls, ask them to check their backups.<br />3. If you’re told you have the wrong ID, double-check, and then ask for a provisional ballot.<br />4. If the lines seem too long, try and stick it out. Some states allow you to vote if you’re in line after the polls close.<br />5. If people keep denying your right to vote,call for help at the nonpartisan Election Protection Hotline. <br />
