German kayaker Adrian Mattern showed off a risky descent down an infamous river gorge in Chile.<br /><br />GoPro footage captured on November 4 shows Mattern making his approach to the 80 feet tall waterfall, called Salto Leona, in his kayak.<br /><br />Mattern then paddles down the steep gorge, nimbly dodging around the rocks, until he falls to a pool at the bottom of the waterfall.<br /><br />''Salto Leona is a waterfall with a very demanding and dangerous entrance rapid. The slightest mistake can be fatal as the kayaker gets to the lip of the big drop in a matter of seconds. There is zero room for error on this one,'' said Mattern. <br /><br />The clip was filmed on November 4.
