Chris Christie May Become the Next US Attorney General President Donald Trump forced <br />Jeff Sessions out of the role after <br />the Democrats won back the House. Christie previously endorsed Trump after dropping out of the <br />2016 presidential race. Before becoming governor, Christie served as a U.S. Attorney in New Jersey from 2002 to 2008. Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani and outgoing Florida AG Pam Bondi are being considered for <br />the role as well. As is former Attorney General <br />William Barr, who served under <br />President George H. W. Bush.
