A fire at a low-cost dormitory housing facility in Seoul on Friday has left at least seven people dead and 11 others injured.<br />According to local fire authorities, the blaze is believed to have broken out at around 5 a.m. on the third floor of the three-story building in the central district of Jongro-gu.<br />The fire was extinguished at 7 a.m.<br />The accommodation, or "goshiwon," was home to about 50 residents.<br />Those killed or injured were aged in their 40s to 60s.<br />The aging building had no sprinklers but was equipped with other emergency equipment.<br />Police and fire officials say they will look into what exactly caused the fire. <br />
