Korean foreign exchange rate saw increased volatility in October: BOK

Korea's central bank says that the won only increased slightly against the U.S. dollar at the start of November despite exchange rate volatility in the previous month.<br />The Bank of Korea released its analysis on the global financial market and Korea's foreign exchange market on Friday...and said the rise in the won-dollar exchange rate was limited from the end of September to the first week of November.<br />This comes despite all major indices on Wall Street plunging due to fears over slowing growth, trade wars and higher interest rates in October. <br />However, the BOK added volatility in exchange rates, which measures the daily change in average, increased in October...compared to the previous month. <br />
