Three people were stabbed, one fatally, following a car explosion in the Central Business District of Melbourne on November 9.<br /><br />According to media, witnesses said they heard a loud explosion and saw a car bust into flames outside Target on Bourke Street, between Swanston and Russell Streets at about 4:20 pm.<br /><br />The unnamed assailant attacked three people before being shot in the chest by police and brought to the hospital in critical condition. <br /><br />This video shows the car on fire as sirens sounded.<br /><br />Victoria Police said there was no known link to terrorism, though the incident was still being investigated at the time of writing.
