The House voted on the $700 billion bailout today. Bills pass the House with a simple majority. Democrats hold that majority. Nancy Pelosi failed to get the Democrat votes needed to pass the bill. Maybe now she will sit down with Republicans and work on a bill that actually helps everyday people and not just the corporate types on Wall Street.
