The European Union has revised its list of vessels under sanctions for their links to North Korea.<br />The EU's gazette, the Official Journal of the European Union,... shows 15 vessels were newly added to the list of ships subject to asset freezes.<br />33 have been barred from European ports, and 12 vessels have been stripped of their ship registration, the process through which a ship is assigned its nationality.<br />Some of these vessels are thought to have been engaged in illegal activities to bypass regulations restricting the import of crude oil into North Korea. <br />
