U.S. Vice President Mike Pence says his country will continue to exert unprecedented diplomatic and economic pressure on North Korea. <br />In an op-ed published Friday in the Washington Post, Pence laid out America's vision for collaboration with countries in the Indo-Pacific, calling on them to keep up the pressure campaign on North Korea, including sanctions, until the regime's denuclearization is achieved.<br />Pence is heading to the region this coming week for a summit with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, as well as the East Asia Summit and the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting.<br />Diplomacy between the U.S. and North Korea appears to have stalled at the moment after a high-level meeting between the two sides in New York was canceled last week. <br />
