Fear and killings on the rise in Dutertes war on drugs

Residents of Cebu, in the Philippines, say they have never felt more afraid after police conduct an anti-drug operation that resulted in a spate of killings.<br /><br />After two years of a violent "war on drugs" in the Philippines, thousands of people are dead and much of the population live in fear of the police.<br /><br />The policy has been personally driven by President Rodrigo Duterte, who's now facing prosecution at the International Criminal Court.<br /><br />With Duterte's term half over and human rights groups continuing their investigations, some police are less willing to take part in the anti-drug campaign.<br /><br />But the families who have already lost loved ones just want a proper investigation into the deaths.<br /><br />Al Jazeera’s Jamela Alindogan has this report from Cebu, in the central Philippines.
