Flash flooding in Jordan has killed 11 people and forced the evacuation of close to 4,000 tourists from the ancient city of Petra, according to officials.<br /><br />Rescue teams are still searching for five people who were swept away in their car in Madaba, south-west of the capital, Amman.<br /><br />Authorities also declared a state of emergency in the port city of Aqaba due to the downpours.
