This is the terrifying moment a woman fell into a sinkhole that suddenly opened up beneath her feet in northwestern China.<br /><br />In the CCTV video, captured in Lanzhou City in Gansu Province last Sunday (November 11), a busy sidewalk suddenly collapses underneath a woman walking by, completely swallowing her up.<br /><br />According to reports, the woman was rescued and sent to hospital. Her ribs were broken but her life was in no danger.<br /><br />The case was being investigated by authorities.
