The death toll from the devastating Camp Fire in Paradise, California, has risen to 42, media reported on November 12.<br /><br />This makes the fire the deadliest in state history, after the Griffith Park Fire in 1933 that killed 29.<br /><br />More than 200 people remain unaccounted for, meaning the toll could increase further. As of Monday night, the fire had scorched over 117,000 acres and stood at 30% containment.<br /><br />In Northern California's Ventura County, the fast-moving Woolsey Fire has killed two and burned thousands of structures.
