A shop owner beat up and knocked a man trying to rob him with a knife out cold in southern China.<br /><br />The CCTV video, filmed in Dongguan City in Guangdong Province on October 25, shows a man in a blue shirt with a mask playing on his phone while the shop owner is packing and counting drinks and cigarettes for him.<br /><br />However, the man suddenly takes out a knife and points it at the shop owner to threaten him.<br /><br />However the shopkeeper quickly reacted and the two men started a fierce fight under the blind spot of the security camera. <br /><br />Eventually their struggle moved them on-camera again, where the shop owner can be seen beating the robber onto the ground and trying to pin him.<br /><br />The shop owner’s wife called the police and they arrived quickly to arrest the robber, according to reports.<br /><br />The shop owner and the robber had treatment in hospital, and were both in good condition.<br /><br />The robber has been detained and the case was being investigated by police.
