외교부 "日 강제징용 판결 비난발언 실망 금할 수 없어"<br /><br />Seoul's ministry of foreign affairs expressed deep disappointment over the Japanese Foreign Minister's remarks about the South Korean Supreme Court's decision on wartime forced labor.<br />Taro Kono warned two weeks ago that the ruling, ordering a Japanese firm to compensate workers for forced labor during World War Two, fundamentally undermines the legal basis of the two countries' bilateral relations.<br />The nation's ministry said in a statement on Thursday, it has already made clear that the way to realize democracy is by honoring the court's decision... and that the government will continue to take necessary measures.<br />The ministry adds that although the Japanese government's current attitude does nothing to help bilateral relations, Seoul is still determined to work with Tokyo for future-oriented relations,... and called for the Japanese government to respond in the right way. <br />
