This is the heartwarming scene as a disabled sea turtle happily swam for the first time after being given a prosthetic flipper yesterday (November 15).<br /><br />Rocky, the injured sea turtle from Florida, was fitted with the custom-made limb after spending close to two decades struggling to swim underwater. <br /><br />The green sea turtle, aged between 25 and 30, was hit by a boat as a young adult which resulted in him losing his front right flipper and suffering shell damage. <br /><br />Prosthetist Kevin Carroll heard the tragic tale and enlisted his team at the Hanger Clinic to build Rocky a special false limb, which he splashed enthusiastically as soon as he took to the water.
