KARACHI: At least two people were killed while several others sustained wounds when an explosion took place under Quaidabad flyover in Malir area of the city on Friday, ARY News reported.<br /><br />According to the police, the blast occurred in a heap of used clothes placed underneath the bridge, injuring around a dozen people.<br /><br />They were rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where two of the injured succumbed to their wounds.<br /><br />The blast was heard far away as panic gripped the locality. A large number of police personnel swarmed the blast site and cordoned it off for security reasons.<br /><br />Following the incident, power supply was also suspended to the area. The cause of the blast has not been determined yet.
