Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients:-<br />2 tsp Coriander seeds<br />1 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds<br />1 Bay Leaf<br />1 Black Cardamom<br />2 Cinnamon sticks<br />1 Mace<br />6-7 Cloves<br />2 cups Water<br />1 Onion, chopped<br />8-10 Garlic, pods<br />1 inch Ginger<br />5-6 Green chillies<br />1/2 kg Chicken<br />1 1/2 tsp Salt<br />3-4 tbsp Oil<br />1/2 tsp Cumin seeds<br />2 Bay Leaves<br />2-3 Star Anise<br />1 Cinnamon stick<br />2-3 Cardamom pods<br />4-5 Cloves<br />1 Onion, Fried<br />2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste<br />6-7 Green Chillies<br />1/2 cup Curd<br />1 1/2 tsp Salt<br />1/2 kg Basmati Rice, soaked&wahsed<br />Water<br /><br />Method:-<br />In a thin cloth add coriander seeds, bay leaf, fennel seeds, black cardamom, cinnamon sticks, mace, cloves, make a potli of it.<br />In a cooker add water, onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies, spice potli, chicken, salt, mix well, close the lid and let it cook for 2 whistles.<br />Take the potli out and remove the chicken and the stock in two different bowls.<br />In a vessel, heat oil, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, star anise, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, onion, mix well and add ginger-garlic paste.<br />Add green chillies, curd, chicken, saute it till turns dry.<br />Add the stock, salt, rice, water, close the lid and cook it on low flame for 15 minutes.<br /><br />Our Yakhni Pulao is ready to serve.
