The ruling Democratic Party of Korea and government officials from related ministries have agreed to revise bills related to privacy to prevent abuse or misuse of personal information. <br /> During a meeting at the National Assembly on Wednesday, the two sides agreed to adopt a system that replaces personally identifiable information with artificial data, making data suitable for analysis without infringing on people's privacy.<br />They also agreed to allow such data to be used in scientific research, statistics and for other purposes that can benefit the public. <br />
