Delegations from South and North Korea will meet at the joint liaison office in the coming hours for working-level talks on communication.<br />The North proposed holding the talks, and the South accepted.<br />Seoul's unification ministry says the talks will mainly center around changing the direct communication lines between Seoul and Pyeongyang... from copper cables to fiber-optic cables.<br />Providing fiber-optic cables to North Korea does not violate the UN sanctions -- an exemption was granted earlier this year when the two Koreas worked to restore their military communication lines.<br />South and North Korea are both sending five-member delegations to the meeting, both led by senior officials from their information and communication bodies. <br />
