<br /> According to Reuters, France imposed sanctions on 18 Saudi citizens for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.<br />The sanctions include travel bans for those linked to the death of the Saudi journalist.<br />France's foreign ministry did not name the individuals publicly, however, the move was in coordination with other European nations, including Germany.<br />Government officials in Berlin also imposed sanctions on 18 Saudis connected to Khashoggi's murder.<br />But the German government also halted weapons sales to Saudi Arabia.<br />The sanctions also prevent the Saudi citizens from traveling to the European Union’s passport-free Schengen zone. <br />
