<br /> According to Reuters, on Saturday police fired tear gas and used water cannons to break up hundreds protesters that gathered on the Champs Elysees in Paris.<br />They are upset about President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies and rising fuel costs and were reportedly in route to the nearby presidential estate, Elysee Palace.<br />This is the second week of what Reuters dubs “yellow vest protests," which has caused disruption across France. <br />
