அடுத்த ஆண்டு மார்ச் மாதத்துக்குள் அனைத்து ஏடிஎம்களும் மூடப்படும் என்ற தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. அதற்கு பதிலாக டிஜிட்டல் பணப்பரிமாற்றத்தை மக்கள் எதிர்கொள்ள மக்கள் தயாராக வேண்டும் என கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.<br /><br />Nearly 50 percent of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) may be shut down by March 2019 due to unviability of operations, hitting hard both urban and rural population, and dealing a blow to the digitization policy, the Confederation of ATM Industry (CATMi) warned on Wednesday.
