청와대 "국가안보실 사칭 이메일 발송 의혹, 경찰에 수사 의뢰"<br /><br />The Cheongwadae requested a police investigation into an e-mail sent by someone impersonating the National Security office... to experts on foreign affairs.<br />The e-mail contained a document purporting to show the presidential office admiting to a growing divide between Seoul and Washington over North Korea's denuclearization.<br />The Blue House denounced the document, which lacked even the most basic official security features, but whose claims nevertheless made it into the news.<br />"Cheong Wa Dae believes this is more than just a false report. In fact, it's so malicious that it's almost impossible to find a precedent for it in media history."<br />Just yesterday, a local media report used a photo of the document.<br />It's authenticity was immediately challenged by the top office.<br />Cheongwadae spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom said the document is harmful to the country and its relationship with the U.S.<br />He added the journalists behind the report will also be held responsible for not doing the bare minimum fact-check. <br />
