America's Cyber Monday sales figure has surged to a new record high of just under 8 billion dollars. <br />According to data from Adobe Analytics, that's more than a 19 percent increase from last year.<br />The milestone came just after a record six-point-two billion dollars were spent in online sales on Black Friday.<br />Amazon apparently did especially well on Cyber Monday.<br />The online retail giant said it was the biggest shopping day ever in terms of items sold - although it did not say how many or how much revenue it made.<br />As usual, tech products, such as smartphones, were among the top-selling items. <br />
