The mission of Nissan's new energy focused program, "Nissan Energy" is to help people and communities switch to electric vehicles and smart power grids.<br />The car company announced the program at a media event, on the night of the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. <br />According to Digital Trends, their three part energy saving initiative includes reusing electric car batteries after cars no longer run. <br />Nissan will also promote the installation of home, business and public charging stations. <br />
