'MURICA — Fortnite hit an impressive milestone now that over 200 million people around the world have played the action-packed battle royale game. <br />According to Bloomberg, that's a 60 percent increase from the 125 million registered users in June.<br />Fortnite is an immensely popular free-to-play battle royale game made by Epic Games, which was released in September 2017. It has since epicly taken over gamers across the globe. <br />The game tosses 100 players onto a shrinking island, and then pits them against each other to see who's the last one standing. <br />According to LadBible, part of the reason the game continues to increase in popularity is Fortnite continually updates with new skins, games modes, weapons and seasons. <br /><br />Fortnite is also available on multiple devices from cell phones to video-game consoles like PS4 and Xbox. <br /><br />Epic Games makes an epic amount of money by charging players for items like outfits and props. <br />According to Bloomberg, in October Epic was able to raise $1.25 billion bucks from investors in a deal that valued the company at $15 billion bones.
