통일부 "연내 철도•도로 착공식, 포기할 정도로 시간 급박하지 않아"<br /><br />The two Koreas will go ahead and prepare to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for a project to connect their railways and roads.<br />That's coming from Seoul's unification ministry which pointed out, there's not much time left,... but expressed confidence... the ceremony can take place within this year.<br />The ministry stressed this is a crucial opportunity to achieve the government's goal... of creating an economic belt with Pyeongyang... and to become a key logistics hub in East Asia.<br />The two sides are starting long overdue joint inspections of railways up North tomorrow... thanks to sanctions waiver granted by Washington and the UN.<br />Over the next two-and-a-half weeks, an inter-Korean research team will conduct tests using train cars on the western Gyeongui Line and the eastern Donghae Line. <br />
