According to Reuters, Michael Cohen pleaded guilty for lying to Congress about a proposed Trump Tower in Moscow.<br />Cohen entered his guilty plea in open court in Manhattan to one count of making false statements to two congressional panels about the project.<br />Court documents indicate that Cohen also briefed Donald Trump on the project more than three times before he was elected president.<br />Cohen initially told Congress that discussions over the tower ended by January 2016, before the Iowa caucuses.<br />But now Cohen says that those discussions continued until June, 2016, after Trump became the presumptive Republican presidential nomination. <br />
