Major Australian cities from Sydney to Western Australia saw students taking to the streets to take part in climate change protests on Friday, November 30.<br /><br />Students skipped school to highlight what they are calling inadeuate climate policies by the Australian government.<br /><br />This video, filmed at Martin Place in Sydney, shows the crowd cheering as a student presented a speech. Many are seen holding up protest signs and clapping.<br /><br />The prime minister, Scott Morrison, had earlier this week urged students this week not to take part and told them to be “less activist”.
