This is the terrifying moment a bull knocked a woman off a moving motor scooter in India on Friday.<br /><br />A video of the incident shows the large bovine strolling around the middle of a village road in Ballari in the state of Karnataka.<br /><br />A motor scooter carrying two passengers approaches and the bull walks straight towards the vehicle and hits a female passenger with its horn.<br /><br />She does a somersault and lands heavily in the road. <br /><br />Fortunately, the woman walked away from the incident with only a few scrapes.<br /><br />Witnesses called officials and a government veterinary doctor Ravi Kumar Kittur rushed to the spot.<br /><br />He tranquilised the bull and said it would be relocated. <br /><br />Nearby Kotturu has a popular Hindu temple and many devotees donate bulls to the deity. <br /><br />The well-fed animals are considered sacred and cannot be harmed but residents say there are hundreds of bulls roaming in their village posing a threat to drivers.
