御嶽宿は中山道49番目の宿場。美濃国可児郡御嵩村（現・岐阜県可児郡御嵩町）に存在しました。「中山道御嶽宿商家竹屋」は、江戸時代の主要街道「中山道」の宿場町、「御嶽宿」のなかに位置しています。御嵩の地に生きた先人の息吹、足跡をしるす文化財や資料の収集・保管・調査研究をするとともに、広く一般に公開し、さらに郷土の歴史に関する学習活動の拠点として、中山道みたけ館（御嵩町郷土館）は位置づけられます。みたけの森は御嵩町にある生活環境保全林です。 敷地は広くたくさんの散歩道があり、東海自然歩道（3km）、減量ウォーク健康街（4km）も通ります。 <br />湿原、池、神社、水車、塔など様々な要素があるうえ、入場料もかからないため人気の公園となっています。 丸山林道と言う林道が通っているため、車から降りなくとも自然を楽しむことが出来ます。 <br />たおやかインターネット放送ＨＰ：http://taoyaka.at-ninja.jp/ <br />Mt.
