Alaska Governor: Repairs, Disruption From Quake Could Last ‘Quite Some Time’

<br /> Alaskans are surveying the damage of a series of earthquakes that struck the area Friday morning.<br />The largest 7.0 magnitude quake significantly damaged buildings, roads, and other infrastructure.<br />Power losses also reportedly affected tens of thousands of people following the initial earthquake.<br />Alaska Governor Bill Walker said that resulting disruption and needed repairs could last “quite some time.”<br />According to Gizmodo Earther, a magnitude-5.2 aftershock hit about 11 p.m. that same day. <br />
