Footage of one of several tornadoes that swept Illinois on Saturday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. <br /><br />This tornado tore through Beardstown, in the southwest. "The tornado formed behind my home," said the filmer. "It started to weaken and disappear but I didn't think it was done yet, so I ran in and grabbed the keys to my ram truck and started heading towards Chandlerville." <br /><br />There were 12 reported tornadoes in central Illinois the same day, with the severe weather striking the state in the late afternoon and early evening. <br /><br />While they left a lot of damage, no casualties were reported as a result of the extreme weather.
