A 7.0-magnitude earthquake rattled the city of Anchorage, Alaska, on November 30, cracking roadways and causing damage to buildings and structures.<br /><br />Seismologists called the earthquake the most significant in Anchorage since the 1964 Good Friday earthquake, in terms of how strong the ground itself shook and severity of impact.<br /><br />This video shows the moment students at Dimond High School ducked under tables as the earthquake struck at 8:30 am local time. The lights are seen going out and an alarm blaring.<br /><br />The state has been hit by more than a thousand aftershocks since the initial earthquake, local media reported. There were no significant injuries.
