Nairobi residents received a reprieve Tuesday morning as Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko lifted a ban on matatus entering the CBD.<br /><br />In the hours after the enforcement of the ban on Monday morning, residents were forced to walk for kilometres to their respective destinations.<br /><br />In the evening hours however, footage of people scrambling to get off the Kenya Railways footbridge that connects Landi Mawe to the CBD emerged.<br /><br />In the video, audible creaks could be heard from the old footbridge as hundreds of Nairobians made their way to various destinations.
