The dismal debut is a disappointment <br />for producers of the film, who had hoped the romantic comedy would be a hit in the world's second largest movie market. Despite the result in China,<br /> 'Crazy Rich Asians' was a groundbreaking hit in the U.S., <br />scoring over $174 million. It also did well in much of East Asia, including Singapore where most of the film is set.
