Our top story this morning...<br />South Korea has launched another satellite into orbit,... this time,... a stationary meterological satellite.<br />Seoul's Ministry of Science of ICT confirmed the launch took place at 5:40AM Korea time from a space center in French Guiana. <br />The Chollian 2A was on board the Ariane 5 rocket,... in a dual passenger launch,... which included an Indian satellite.<br />A signal has been received confirming the launch was successful.<br />The Chollian 2A will send high-res pictures of weather front developments and the Earth's surface to local researchers every ten minutes. <br />
