A 7.0-magnitude earthquake rattled the city of Anchorage, Alaska, on November 30, cracking roadways and causing damage to buildings and structures.<br /><br />Seismologists called the earthquake the most significant in Anchorage since the 1964 Good Friday earthquake, in terms of how strong the ground itself shook and severity of impact.<br /><br />This video, filmed from a security camera at a home in Anchorage, shows the moment the earthquake struck. Flashes can be seen in the footage, appearing to be transformers blowing up.<br /><br />The state has been hit by more than a thousand aftershocks since the initial earthquake, local media reported. There were no significant injuries.
