South Korea's National Assembly will hold a session to vote today on the 2019 budget plan.<br />The ruling Democratic Party and main opposition Liberty Korea Party<br />reached an agreement on Thursday to settle the revised version of the spending bill,… as well as cut the budget in areas of contention.<br /> However, the deal was criticized by minor opposition parties as it did not include their demand to overhaul the country's electoral system.<br />It’s unclear whether the minor parties will participate in the vote,… as they have entered a sit-in demonstration,… with some party chairs on hunger strike.<br />But even without them, the ruling and main opposition parties together have enough votes to pass the budget.<br />However, it's unclear when exactly the vote will take place, given that details still need to be fine-tuned. <br />
