<br /> France is set to close the Eiffel Tower and other major tourist attractions in Paris this weekend, in fear of another wave of violent protests in the country. Reuters reports<br />Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said 89,000 police would be deployed throughout France this weekend in attempts to stop a repeat of last Saturday’s massive protests across France. Protestors of the “yellow vest” movement have called on social media for “Act IV," meaning a fourth weekend of protest. During the uprisings, the Arc de Triomphe was vandalized with graffiti directed at President Emmanuel Macron. The protests began after Macron announced a tax increase on fuel. Philippe told the Senate last week he was open to new measures to help low-paid workers. <br />
