Commercial 5G smartphones are expected to hit the mainstream market in South Korea... by the end of the first quarter in 2019.<br />Research also shows... that the country is likely to be one of the world's fastest adopters of 5G technology in the coming years.<br />Market research firm Strategy Analytics says... that the adoption rate of 5G smartphones in South Korea will reach 5-point-5 percent next year and rise to 10-point-9 percent by 2020.<br />Korea's three largest mobile carriers already launched their 5G networks earlier this month,... but services are currently limited to enterprise users only. <br />Other nations also expected to get an early jump on 5G technology over the next two years... include the U.S., China and Japan. <br />
