Several people were injured on Monday during the kabaddi match in the city of Chandrapur Maharashtra in India when a stage collapsed.<br /><br />The incident happened when dozens of supporters of local politician Sanjay Dhote was sitting with 59 of his supporter when the stage collapsed.<br /><br />The structure could not take the weight of the large number of people and collapsed, sending those seated crashing to the ground.<br /><br />Several spectators were treated for minor injuries.
