US Imposes <br />New Sanctions <br />on North Korea The sanctions have been <br />imposed on three top <br />North Korean officials. One of the officials is described <br />as Kim Jong Un's "right hand man." The sanctions have <br />been imposed because of <br />North Korea's continued <br />human rights violations. Warmbier was imprisoned <br />for 17 months in North Korea <br />after being arrested for theft. He died 17 days after <br />being returned to the <br />U.S. in a vegetative state.
