Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has claimed trial at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court to tampering a 1Malaysia Development Berhad final audit document.<br /><br />He was accused of using his position then to gain protection from a civil disciplinary action by ordering the final audit report on 1MDB to be tampered before it was finalised and presented to the Public Accounts Committee.<br /><br />Earlier on Wednesday, former 1MDB CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy was also charged with abetting Najib in Feb 2016.<br /><br />Both pleaded not guilty to their charges.<br /><br />Read more at: https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2018/12/12/najib-charged-with-tampering-1mdb-final-audit-report/
