The U.S. House of Representatives has adopted a resolution reaffirming the South Korea-U.S. alliance. <br />Submitted by the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Ed Royce,.... the resolution says.... the allies' bond serves as a linchpin of regional stability and bilateral security.<br />It also says... the alliance exemplifies the broad and deep military, diplomatic, economic and cultural ties between Seoul and Washington. <br />Before the resolution was put to vote,.... Royce emphasized that the allies need to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in keeping pressure on North Korea to peacefully end the regime's nuclear and missile programs. <br />
