President Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen has been sentenced to three years in jail for a slew of irregularities surrounding Trump's presidential campaign.<br />The charges included lying about Trump's business dealings in Russia and funneling hush money to two women who claimed to have had an affair with the president.<br />Once known as Trump's "fixer", Cohen told a federal judge on Wednesday that he took full responsibility for his actions.<br />He added that his "blind loyalty" to his boss led him to cover up what he called Trump's "dirty deeds." <br />Cohen becomes the first member of President Trump's inner circle to be jailed over Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. <br />
